My name is Cheryl and I live in Southern California with my husband, David. I've worn many hats through the years, one being seamstress.
My Mom instilled the love of sewing in me as a young girl. I can't thank her enough for all her love and patience, while guiding me along.
When I became a mom myself, my girl kept me in stitches. For school, dance recitals, and as a majorette, I was always creating something for her. I took pride in everything I made. I still do.
My husband surprised me with a computerized sewing machine, an embroidery machine, and a serger. The technology is amazing, but I still find myself using many of the old techniques. The French seam is my favorite.
I began making bears and Raggedies two years ago. Then, as gifts, I was sewing children's clothing again. My hobby turned into a home-based business, and Ruffles, Bows & Britches came to be.
Nothing happens...but first a dream.
